WASECA — A Waseca man allegedly had a stolen gun and drugs when he was caught violating a restraining order.

A woman called Waseca police Monday evening and reported Anthony Marshaun Jackson, 36, was at her apartment complex in violation of a harassment restraining order.

Police found Jackson in the apartment parking lot and he was in possession of a gun and a small amount of methamphetamine, a court complaint said.

Jackson reportedly told police he bought the gun two years ago but an officer determined it had been stolen from Mankato in March.

Jackson was charged Tuesday in Waseca County District Court with felony receiving stolen property, gross misdemeanor counts of carrying a gun without a permit and drug possession, and misdemeanor violating a restraining order.
