Letter: Heads right, body wrong

To the Editor:

This letter is in reply to the July 11 letter “We must search for more oil” and the Aug. 22 letter, “We need to conserve, find alternative fuels.” I agree with both headlines, but not with the letters. Both writers blame the Democratic or Republican parties or the president for the high oil prices. Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. When a person gets elected to public office, they lose all common sense.
