Letter: Health care questions for Walz
Would you explain just how the bill saves money on health care when you add 50 million to the number to be taken care of. Do you ration the use of tests or procedures, expensive drugs, etc.?

I appreciate his position that people should not be hostile or rude to each other regarding Christmas greetings, etc. However, I want to point out that when I say “Merry Christmas” I am not assuming that the other person is a Christian — I am saying it because I am a Christian and am proud of it. Why would that offend anyone?

Referring to The Land Assistant Editor Tom Royer’s Dec. 11 opinion, “That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown,” the special day Christmas is Christ’s birthday, therefore “Merry Christmas.”
